Media Advisory: iExploreSTEM on the UI Research Park in Coralville, Sept. 18

WHAT: A festival of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) featuring 40 hands-on activities and competitions for elementary and middle-school students and their families. The festival, which is free and open to the public, is co-produced by the State Hygienic Laboratory at the University of Iowa and the Iowa Mathematics and Science Education Partnership.

WHO: UI President Sally Mason and Sen. Bob Dvorsky will make comments about the growing STEM movement and its impact on the state of Iowa.

WHEN: 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18 (Remarks 1:30 to 2 p.m.)

WHERE: The State Hygienic Laboratory on the UI Research Park in Coralville. (Southeast corner of Highway 965 and Oakdale Blvd. in Coralville.)
