The Arianna Quartet has won Grand Prizes in the Fischoff, Coleman and Carmel competitions, and has given concerts throughout the United States and Japan.

Janof has interviewed many of the world's leading cellists and many of those interviews can be accessed at the Internet Cello Society website, http://www.cello.org.

The Iowa Cello Society was founded in 2002 by UI faculty cellists Anthony Arnone and Hannah Holman. Read their bios at http://www.uiowa.edu/~music//faculty_staff/alphabet.shtml. The School of Music is a unit of the Division of Performing Arts in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
