Performance features guest trombonist Michael Dease, UI jazz faculty Dec. 1

New York trombonist Michael Dease will be the guest artist when the Johnson County Landmark (JCL), the top big band of the University of Iowa School of Music's jazz studies program, performs at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Mill Restaurant in downtown Iowa City. The Dan Padley/Ryan Smith Quintet will open at 6 p.m.
