Recreational Services hosting youth tennis camps and adult clinics
University of Iowa Recreational Services is hosting tennis instruction for all ages this summer at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex, 2820 Prairie Meadows Drive in Iowa City.
Multiple tennis camps for youth ages 4-18 are still available. Campers are divided into age groups and level of play, and they will receive stroke and strategy instruction through drills and games in a fun and challenging environment. An adult tennis clinic will be held 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m Wednesdays from July 6 to July 27. The clinic will cover stroke and strategy instruction, mental toughness tips, footwork ideas, and more with drills and match play. Class will be divided into levels of play from beginner to advanced. Registration deadline is Friday July 1.
