20th Annual BP Golf Tournament benefits Children's Miracle Network
The 20th Annual BP Golf Tournament held June 21 at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville raised $40,000 for Children's Miracle Network to support pediatric patients and their families at University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
The 2010 fundraising effort contributed to the grand total of $725,000 that BP has donated to Children's Miracle Network from these golf tournaments over the past two decades.
Jim Mulgrew of Mulgrew Oil said that the longstanding relationship between BP and Children's Miracle Network demonstrates the company's committment to local causes. UI Children's Hospital is the state's only nationally ranked children's hospital.
