Specialists to provide dental care during Iowa Mission of Mercy Oct 3-4
Dental specialists, faculty and staff from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will be among the volunteers providing dental care free of charge during the first-ever Iowa Mission of Mercy Oct. 3-4 at the Five Sullivan Brothers Center in Waterloo.
Sponsored by the Iowa Dental Foundation, the volunteers will provide free dental care to more than 1,000 people during the two-day mission. Each patient will receive a medical screening prior to treatment.

Oct. 8 community seminar to focus on breast cancer treatments
"Tailored Therapy: The New Way To Treat Breast Cancer" will be the focus of the next "Health For Your Lifetime" seminar from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 1220 First Ave. in Coralville.
Experts from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will discuss how members of the UI Breast Health Clinic team are working together to offer the latest in diagnostics and tailor treatments to fit a woman's individual needs.
