May 20, 2008 At A Glance UI Hospitals and Clinics wins award for supply chain efficiency University of Iowa Health leaders announced Monday, May 19, that UI Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City has received a national award for its efforts to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of its hospital supplies purchasing chain and keep costs lower for patients. The University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) honored UI Hospitals and Clinics with its 2007 Supply Chain Top 10 Award.
