North Riverside near Art Building reduced to single lane until Saturday, July 19
A construction project on the University of Iowa campus will reduce traffic to a single lane on North Riverside Drive just north of the CRANDIC viaduct in the vicinity of the Art Building until Saturday, July 19. The project, to construct a new electrical duct bank across North Riverside, is expected to take about two weeks. During that time, a flag person will be present to accommodate alternating single-lane traffic. Motorists should expect delays on this route. This project was delayed from July 9.
Learn about Iowa Go Local health Web site at fair July 21-24
Iowa Go Local, a new Web-based health information service, will be demonstrated July 21-24 at the Johnson County Fair at booth No. 38.
The University of Iowa Hardin Library for the Health Sciences recently launched Iowa Go Local to provide Iowans quality health information and connect them to health care providers and services statewide, including hospitals, pharmacies and assisted living facilities.
Iowa Go Local is funded by the National Library of Medicine, part of the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is available free through http://medlineplus.gov/Iowa in English and Spanish. Project partners include the UI College of Public Health and UI Hospitals and Clinics.
