Program on infertility care set for Sept. 23

University of Iowa Women's Health will host a free public program titled "A Holistic Approach to Infertility Care" from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, in the new UI Women's Health Center on the third level of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion at UI Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

The program is a collaborative effort between UI Women's Health and the Eastwind Healing Center. Presenters from the UI and Eastwind Healing Center will discuss topics such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, allopathic medicine and technological advances in caring for people affected by infertility.

The new UI Women's Health Center serves as the hub for women's health and home to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Using a multidisciplinary approach, UI Women's Health offers access to a women-focused health care team dedicated to providing quality patient care that meets the expectations of the women of today.
