University of Iowa hosts law school fair

The University of Iowa is hosting its first law school fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union.

Admissions representatives from more than 90 law schools across the country (including the UI College of Law) will meet with interested individuals. A complete listing of the law schools attending the fair may be found at http://www.uiowa.edu/web/advisingcenter/prelaw_fair.htm

"We're excited that for the first time University of Iowa students, and everyone else with an interest in attending law school, will have access to the representatives of so many law schools at one time," said John Little, academic advisor. "More than half of all the law schools in the country will be represented at the Law School Fair. It is a great opportunity to learn about attending law school in general, and to gather information about specific schools."

This event is free for all students and the general public. The Academic Advising Center, Phi Alpha Delta and the Mid-West Association of Pre-Law Advisors are sponsoring the fair. For additional information contact John Little at 319-353-5700 or john-little@uiowa.edu.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, contact John Little in advance at 319-353-5700.
