Kohl's, UI Children's Hospital to hold fitness event, donation

WHAT: Kohl's Cares for Kids Kickoff, which will include a $119,431 donation to University of Iowa Children's Hospital

WHO: Representatives from Kohl's Department Stores, Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County and UI Children's Hospital

WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 8. The fitness event begins at 8:30 a.m.; check presentation and drawing at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Kohl's Department Store, 2795 Commerce Drive in Coralville

Video/photo opportunities for news media include: health breakfast samples and recipes for children and parents; information booths; fitness walks; and the check presentation from Kohl's associates.
