MEDIA ADVISORY: Fiscal Wake Up Tour speakers available for interviews
Two media availabilities with the speakers on the Fiscal Wake Up Tour will be held Monday, Dec. 3, before they participate in a University of Iowa forum about the national debt at the Tippie College of Business.
The first availability will be held at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Rapids Marriott Hotel, 1200 Collins Road, in Cedar Rapids.
The second will be held at 5 p.m. in Room S326 of the Pappajohn Business Building on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City.
Please note the times of the press conferences have changed from the times announced earlier.
The four speakers who will be available at the press conference and who will participate in the forum are:
--David Walker, comptroller general of the United States and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
--Jeff Bixby, executive director of the Concord Coalition.
--Brian Reidl, senior policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation.
--Jeff Furman, an institute director of the Brookings Institute.
The group will speak at 6 p.m. in Room C20 of the Pomerantz Center in a forum sponsored by the RSM McGladrey Institute of Accounting Education and Research in the Tippie College of Business.
