UI Student Domeyer Recognized With Lennis J. Holm Scholarship

Amy Domeyer, a junior from Dubuque majoring in English and pre-medicine in the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, was awarded the $1,000 Lennis J. Holm Scholarship in Screenwriting, Nonfiction Writing or Playwriting. The scholarship is awarded to a UI student in English who has an emphasis in nonfiction writing.

Domeyer is a 2004 graduate of Wahlert High School and the daughter of Steve and Janet Domeyer.

Lennis J. Holm of Eagle Grove graduated with honors from the UI in 1968 and later received his law degree from Georgetown University. His family established this scholarship in his memory following his death in 2002.
