The University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 10-Minute Play Festival Feb. 8-11 with two events: "8 X 10," a production of eight new short plays by undergraduate playwrights; and "Take 10," a "playwalk" featuring some of the best works from past festivals performed at sites in downtown Iowa City.

The 10-Minute Play Festival was invented by faculty member Kate Aspengren, a graduate of the Iowa Playwrights Workshop, to provide students in her undergraduate playwriting class with an opportunity to learn from having their work produced.
