Red Cedar Chamber Music presents concert Sept. 9 at Old Capitol Museum

Red Cedar Chamber Music will present "One European White Guy," featuring the music of mid-19th-century German composer Gaspard Kummer at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, in the Senate Chamber of the Old Capitol Museum.

Red Cedar Trio members, including violist David Miller, flutist Jan Boland and guitarist John Dowdall, together with guest artists, violinist Timothy Shiu and cellist Loretta O'Sullivan, will perform Kummer's music on period instruments.

"One European White Guy" is sponsored by the UI and the Old Capitol Museum. Artists' sponsorships are provided by Honkamp Krueger & Co. and Thea Leslie, in memory of Roger Leslie.
