Marengo Restaurant To Host Benefit For Childhood Cancer Patients
PHAT Daddy's and the Aiming For A Cure Foundation are teaming up to hold a fundraising benefit breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 14, at 1185 Court Ave. in Marengo.
This is a freewill donation event. All proceeds will go directly to benefit children receiving treatment for cancer at Children's Hospital of Iowa within University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
With the help of generous donors, sponsors and participants, Aiming for a Cure has successfully raised more than $190,000 over the last three years for Children's Hospital of Iowa through Children's Miracle Network.
The mission of the Aiming For A Cure Foundation is to raise funds to benefit pediatric oncology patients and families served by Children's Hospital of Iowa at UI Hospitals and Clinics. The group's goal is to enhance the quality of care and quality of lives of these children through the funding of research and patient care. Aiming For A Cure Foundation is a nonprofit organization.
