IWP Writers Reflect On Iowa Experience In 'Images Of America' Nov. 3

Participants in the University of Iowa International Writing Program (IWP) will reflect on their Iowa experience in "Images of America," the residency's concluding discussion at noon Friday, Nov. 3, in Meeting Room A of the Iowa City Public Library.

Unlike the preceding discussions, "Images of America" will not feature prepared comments by a small panel. Instead, all the IWP writers will be invited to share their impressions, experiences and reflections.

"This unique panel offers students and local residents a vision of Iowa as seen through the eyes of these talented and insightful international writers," says Hugh Ferrer, the IWP's program coordinator. "Indeed, 'Images of America' is always one of the most engrossing and entertaining public events of the IWP residency."

Twenty-nine writers, representing 22 countries, have been in residence this fall at the IWP. Biographies of all the writers are accessible on the IWP website,
