UI Research Park, Innovative Software Engineering Host Open House

WHAT: The University of Iowa Research Park and Innovative Software Engineering, LLC. (ISE) are hosting an open house to showcase ISE's expansion to UI's Oakdale Research Park.

WHEN: 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18

WHERE: 2568 Crosspark Road, Suite 200, UI Oakdale Research Park, Coralville, Iowa

WHO: ISE, UI and community officials will speak about the growth of ISE and its expansion to the Research Park. Tours will be given before and after presentation.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: ISE is a full service custom software solutions provider. It developed interactive software for self-paced learning for McGraw-Hill Companies. More recently, the company expanded its focus to target the transportation data services industry, with specialization in vehicle telematics, using global positioning technology integrated with embedded computers and mobile communications.  ISE has successfully contracted with and sold its services to a number of major transportation clients.

Founded in December 2002 with eight employees, it now has 22 employees. To accommodate this growth, ISE recently moved from the Technology Innovation Center on the UI's Oakdale Campus to its new offices in the Oakdale Research Park.
