UI Cancer Specialists To Host End-Of-Life Movie Screening, Discussion
Pediatric oncology nurses with Children's Hospital of Iowa at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City will host a screening of an excerpt of the movie "A Lion in the House" at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, in the atrium dining area on the seventh floor of the Roy Carver Pavilion. The screening will be followed by a discussion of pediatric issues faced by children and their families during the end-of-life process.
The Iowa chapter of the Association of Pediatric Oncology Nurses (APON) and the Iowa End-of-Life Coalition are sponsoring the event, which is free and open to the public.
