UI Announces Search For Two Associate Vice President Positions
The University of Iowa has announced that formal searches for two associate vice president positions are under way in the Office of the Vice President for Research.
UI Vice President for Research Meredith Hay said that one position will focus on biological, mathematical and physical sciences, while the other will center on the arts, humanities and social sciences. Each associate vice president will be a strategic advisor to the vice president for research regarding their respective areas of responsibility. Open to both faculty and staff, the positions are 12-month appointments, renewable annually. The associate vice presidents will report directly to the vice president for research.
Application materials should include a letter of application, resume or curriculum vita and three references. They should be submitted to: Associate Vice President for Research Search Committee, c/o Cheryl Reardon, 201 Gilmore Hall, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa 52242.
The application deadline is March 1, 2006. The anticipated start date for the appointments is June 1, 2006.
