Local UI Pharmacy Student Inducted Into Leadership Society
(Student name) of (hometown) was one of 16 University of Iowa College of Pharmacy students inducted into Phi Lambda Sigma, also known as the National Pharmacy Leadership Society, April 13 at an initiation banquet held at the Iowa Memorial Union on the UI campus.
The purpose of Phi Lambda Sigma is to promote the development of leadership qualities among pharmacy students. Phi Lambda Sigma inductees are nominated and selected by existing members, based on the prospective members' demonstrated dedication, service and leadership in the advancement of pharmacy.
