Volunteers May Be Needed For Tornado Cleanup
As recovery and cleanup from Thursday night's storms and tornadoes gets underway, volunteers may be needed to help the university's staff, faculty, volunteers and student employees whose homes and property have been affected, as well as assist others in the affected communities.
UI Hospitals and Clinics is working with the City of Iowa City Clerk's Office to gather a list of staff, faculty, students and other volunteers who are interested in helping with storm cleanup, if needed. Email Maria Brown at email@example.com and provide the following information (Brown will check her emails periodically throughout the weekend):
* Contact information (work, home, cell phones)
* Expertise (carpentry, electrical, etc., general help)
* Equipment you could use/loan
* When you would be available
