Head And Neck Cancer Screening Session Set
Specialists at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics will offer a free screening session to check for signs of head and neck cancer from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 21, on the second level of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
The screeners will include Meg Colwill, clinical nurse coordinator; Kenneth Dornfeld, M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology; Jeffery Markt, D.D.S., clinical associate professor in Hospital Dentistry; Russell Smith, M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology; and Ann Sporkman-Link, speech pathologist. Several resident physicians from the Department of Otolaryngology will also provide screening services.
