Tenure Symposium To Offer Faculty Advice April 19
The University of Iowa chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), Faculty Senate and the Office of the Provost will sponsor a tenure symposium Wednesday, April 19 in W401 Pappajohn Business Building. A panel of speakers will give attendees advice on how to be successful in obtaining tenure and will discuss applicable procedures.
Speakers include Associate Provost for Faculty Susan Johnson, Professor of Law David Baldus, former Chairperson of the Department of English Brooks Landon, and University Ombudspersons Cynthia Joyce and Craig Porter.
Informal conversation and refreshments will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the formal program will begin at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Lois Cox at firstname.lastname@example.org.
