University Theatres Holds Public Auditions For Upcoming UI Productions
University Theatres, the production arm of the University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts, will hold public auditions for several upcoming shows Nov. 13-15 in Room 172 of the UI Theatre Building
Auditions will be held 7-11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13; 9-11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14; and 7-11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. Callbacks will be Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 16-17, at times and locations to be announced.
Shows to be cast will be "The Puzzle Locker," "Betty's Summer Vacation," "The Liberation of Tom," "The Humanities Division" and "A Flickering."
Auditioners should prepare one or two monologues for an audition period not to exceed three minutes.
Information on the shows, scripts and a sign-up sheet for auditions will be posted Nov. 1 on the callboard in the Theatre Building.

No affiliation with the UI or the Department of Theatre Arts is required for participation in University Theatres productions, which adhere to the principle of color-blind casting. Actors of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to audition.
