Chemistry Library Temporarily Moves To Main Library
The University of Iowa Chemistry Library is moving to temporary quarters in the UI Main Library while the Chemistry building is being renovated. As a result, the Chemistry Library will be closed May 14-31 for the move and re-open June 1. The library will now be housed on the second floor of Main Library, and the office will be located in Room 2006.
The Chemistry Library's new hours will be: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, closed; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., except Sunday, July 3, when the library will be closed.

The Chemistry Library supports research and teaching in chemical and biochemical engineering, and chemistry. The 79,000-volume collection is also used heavily by researchers in the health sciences, laser studies and biology, as well as businesses throughout Iowa.
