UI Election Campaign Study Seeks Participants

American citizens age 18 and over who are not currently undergraduate university students are invited to participate in an election campaign study at the University of Iowa. The study, which seeks to understand voter decision-making, is being conducted by David Redlawsk, assistant professor of political science in the UI College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Eligible participants must be U.S. citizens of voting age. Participants will come to the campus in Iowa City where they will spend approximately two hours involved in a presidential election campaign simulation, learning about fictitious candidates and deciding which candidate they favor. Participants will answer questions about their decision-making processes to help researchers understand how voters make choices during a campaign. Compensation is available.

For more information or to enroll, please contact Andrew Civettini at 319-335-2319 or andrew-civettini@uiowa.edu or Redlawsk at 319-335-2352 or david-redlawsk@uiowa.edu.
