Auditions Will Be March 1-6 For UI New Play Festival
The University of Iowa Department of Theatre Arts will hold auditions March 1-6 for the Iowa New Play Festival 2005.
The New Play Festival, which spotlights new scripts from the department's master of fine arts playwriting program, the Iowa Playwrights Workshop, will produce a half-dozen new plays, with a premiere each day, May 2-7.

Auditioners will be asked to make "cold" readings from scripts for the festival's productions. A sign-up sheet is posted on the callboard in the Theatre Building.
No association with the theater department or with the UI is required for participation in Iowa New Play Festival productions. Actors of all ages and levels of experience are encouraged to audition.
