TIAA-CREF Opens Coralville Office

TIAA-CREF, one of the world's largest retirement systems, is opening an office in Coralville on Tuesday, Aug. 16 with a ceremony and open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. University of Iowa President David Skorton, U.S Rep. Jim Leach, and Herb Allison, chairman and president of TIAA-CREF, will attend the event.

The office, at 327 Second St., will serve TIAA-CREF participants from the University of Iowa and many other colleges, universities, and other institutions in the area. The office is one of 16 regional offices opened across the country in 2005. TIAA-CREF serves 3.2 million participants at 15,000 institutions nationwide with more than $350 billion in combined assets. The University of Iowa is one of the largest institutions participating in TIAA-CREF.
