Student Health To Hold Open House Event For New Pharmacy
University of Iowa students can take a close-up look at the new UI Student Health Service pharmacy today from 4 to 6 p.m. during a special public open house event and tour.
The pharmacy significantly enhances convenience and privacy for students, as well as meets the wishes of students who have long expressed an interest in an on-campus pharmacy.

The new pharmacy, called Westlawn Pharmacy, provides a high-level of pharmaceutical care for UI students, as well as prescription services and confidential medication counseling. Over-the-counter remedies, such as cough and cold remedies, pain relievers, and allergy products, are available in the new pharmacy. Staff members accept cash, checks, credit cards and U-Bill as payment options. Several insurance plans are also accepted.
