Hogan To Speak On 'Building The Academic Enterprise' April 14
Michael Hogan, University of Iowa Executive Vice President and Provost, will deliver his first annual Spring Speech on Thursday, April 14 at 4 p.m. in Shambaugh Auditorium, UI Main Library. Hogan will speak about "Our University Home: Building the Academic Enterprise," detailing his vision for the academic future of the university. He will discuss the difficult choices and exciting endeavors ahead as the university embraces its new strategic plan, "The Iowa Promise."
Hogan is launching this annual tradition as a complement to the President's Annual Keynote, delivered each fall. The two speeches will bookend the academic year, sharing vision and enhancing connections between the university's leadership and its faculty, staff, and students.
A reception in the north lobby of the library follows the speech, which is free and open to the public.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact the Office of the Provost at 319-335-3565.
