Long-Term Care Forum In Des Moines April 6
WHAT: In Celebration of National Public Health Week, the University of Iowa College of Public Health, Des Moines University and Des Moines Area Community College are co-sponsoring a forum on long-term care in Iowa for Iowa legislators and others interested in public policies related to this topic.
WHEN: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 6.
WHERE: Room 116, Iowa State Capitol Building, Des Moines.
WHO: Participants will include: Robert Denson, president of Des Moines Area Community College; Gilbert Ramírez, dean and professor of Des Moines University College of Health Sciences; James Merchant, dean of the University of Iowa College of Public Health; Sen. Maggie Tinsman; Sen. Amanda Ragan; Rep. Dave Heaton; Rep. Ro Foege; and Robert Wallace, professor of epidemiology, and Brian Kaskie, assistant professor of health management and policy, both from the UI.
