Engineering, Business Lecture On Global Clients Set For Sept. 23
Ted Kubit, Accenture manager of business process design and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, Raleigh, N.C., will speak on how Accenture serves global clients, from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 in Buchanan Auditorium, Pappajohn Business Building.
The seminar, being held jointly by the Henry B. Tippie College of Business and the UI College of Engineering, is free and open to the public.
Kubit, who earned a UI bachelor's degree in business administration in 1996, will focus his talk on: outsourcing offerings and offshore delivery centers; using offshore in outsourcing and consulting engagements; a study of client projects that have used offshore centers; and what UI students can do to prepare for a career where outsourcing and working with offshore sites is the norm.
