Learn About Global Marketplace At UI Libraries Workshop
A workshop sponsored by the University of Iowa Libraries will introduce participants to the STAT-USA/Internet, a U.S. Department of Commerce database that helps users research the global marketplace, learn more about international product marketing, or find research reports, trade information and country studies.
The workshop will be Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Information Arcade in the Main Library. The workshop will introduce the basics of STAT-USA/Internet in the morning session and another international trade database, USA Trade Online, during the afternoon. These sessions will focus on navigation and searching techniques complete with practice exercises.
