Women's Center Offers Group Facilitation Training

The Women's Resource & Action Center's (WRAC) is offering group facilitation training this summer for individuals interested in leading support and/or discussion groups at the Center. WRAC's groups are designed to offer opportunities for participants to explore, change, learn and heal. Volunteer facilitators are needed for groups such as Eating Disorders, Gender Puzzle, Sister to Sister, and many others.

Participants in the training must attend all five sessions of the summer training. The complete schedule is as follows:

Thursday, June 10 - 6 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, June 15 - 6 to 9 p.m.
Thursday, June 17 - 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, June 19 - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday, June 22 - 6 to 9 p.m.

To register for the training, call WRAC at 319-335-1486. Space is limited to 10 participants, so interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early.
