Town Hall Meeting Set For UI Law Dean Candidate Yen
A public town hall meeting with University of Iowa College of Law dean candidate Alfred Chueh-Chin Yen will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 in the Levitt Auditorium of the Boyd Law Building.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Yen is a professor of law at Boston College Law School and is a former Boston College associate dean for academic affairs. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Stanford University and received his law degree from Harvard.
Yen is the fifth of seven candidates who are being interviewed to succeed N. William Hines, who is stepping down as dean in June. In mid-February, the search committee will forward the names of three finalists to UI President David Skorton, who will make the final selection.
