Blanck to Speak at EEOC Forum on Work for Persons with Disabilities
Peter Blanck, the Charles M. and Marion Kierscht Professor of Law at the
UI College of Law, will participate in a forum sponsored by the U.S. Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission on job opportunities for persons with disabilities.
The forum, held at EEOC Washington, D.C. headquarters on March 3, is part
of a series entitled "Realities and Opportunities in the 21st Century
Blanck directs the Law, Health Policy & Disability Center at the University of Iowa College of Law. Based at the University of Iowa College of Law, with offices in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere, the disability law center concentrates on public policy and its impact on persons with disabilities, with an emphasis on self-determination, self-sufficiency and economic independence.
