Picnic For Children Born With Heart Defects On Sunday
Heart Friends will host a picnic for children with congenital heart defects and their families from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14 in the North Ridge Pavilion located at 2250 Holiday Road in Coralville, Iowa.
Heart Friends provides emotional support, information and educational opportunities to children with congenital heart disease and their families. An affiliated group, Hopeful Hearts, serves those born with heart defects who have reached adulthood.
The Heart Friends Picnic will offer an afternoon of games for children, activities and socializing. Food and drinks will be provided. To RSVP, please call 319-384-8442 or 1-800-777-8442.
