UI Faculty And Staff Health Fair Set For Nov. 5
University of Iowa faculty and staff are invited to celebrate health and wellness by attending this year's UI Faculty and Staff Health Fair from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the UI Field House.
The health fair provides the opportunity for UI faculty and staff to learn about health and wellness, UI Health Plans and a variety of health-related services.
Free bone density screenings, blood pressure checks and cholesterol testing will be available. Employee flu shots also will be available.
The Shiatsu Clinic and School and FTS Therapeutic Massage will provide free massages. In addition, health fair participants can register for a number of door prizes and also receive a "stress apple" while supplies last.
The health fair's presenting sponsors are UI Wellness, UI Health Care, UI Staff Council and the UI Division of Recreational Services. Additional sponsors include Hy-Vee, NuCara Pharmacy, UI Community Credit Union and Pfizer.
