‘Women In Hip Hop’ To Be Presented Oct. 22

"Women and Hip Hop," a presentation and performance, will be presented at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Public Space One, 6 S. Dubuque St. in Iowa City, 2nd Floor.

The event will feature UI student, MC and performance artist, Kyala 4-tress, who will give an informational presentation about the role of women in Hip Hop. She will also share her own interpretations and poetry, and will be joined by other artists. The event is free, and open to the public.

"Women and Hip Hop" is sponsored by the Sister Connection Coalition, comprised of members of University of Iowa organizations and departments including the Women's Resource & Action Center (WRAC), Opportunity at Iowa and Support Service Programs.
