Public Invited To Nov. 20 Nursing Forum At UI Hospitals and Clinics
Officials at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics invite members of the public to attend the Magnet Hospital for Nursing Public Forum from 5 to 6 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 20) in the East Room, located on the 8th floor of the John Colloton Pavilion.
As part of the two-day site visit, the Magnet Hospital appraisers wish to meet with individuals who have a relationship with UI Hospitals and Clinics to determine their views of the nursing, quality of care, mission and vision of the UI Hospitals and Clinics and the ways in which the medical center and its nurses have impacted peoples' lives.
The Magnet Award from the American Nurse's Credentialing Center is the only national award that specifically recognizes excellence in nursing services and is considered a gold standard for a professional practice environment. UI Hospitals and Clinics leaders firmly believe nurses here deserve this designation and encourage everyone to attend the forum.
