UI Planner Larry Wilson Named To Top National Landscape Architecture Council

Larry Wilson, UI Campus Planner, has been inducted into the Council of Fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Wilson, campus planner, Facilities Services Group, accepted the honor at the ASLA annual meeting Nov. 1 in New Orleans.

The designation of Fellow, according to the ASLA, indicates that Wilson has been recognized by his peers for extraordinary work in administrative work in landscape architecture. Among the notable accomplishments cited in the induction was his work to make the UI campus master plan harmonize with the natural environment.

Wilson came to Iowa in 1990 from The University of Missouri-Columbia, where he was manager of project architecture.
