Local Student Receives Award While Graduating From UI College Of Law

(NAME OF STUDENT) of (HOMETOWN) recently received an award during commencement ceremonies from the University of Iowa College of Law in recognition of academic excellence.

(STUDENT) received the (NAME OF AWARD) during the law school's graduation ceremonies May 17 at Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City. The ceremony saw 213 graduates receive their JD or LLM degrees from N. William Hines, dean of the College of Law, and David Skorton, president of the University of Iowa. Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack delivered the commencement address.
