UI Museum Of Art Hosts Annual MFA Exhibition May 9-June 8
Showcasing works by recent Master of Fine Arts (MFA) graduates, the University of Iowa Museum of Art will present "MFA 2002-2003," on view at the museum from Friday, May 9 through Sunday, June 8.
To open the exhibition and to honor the graduates, a reception will be held from 3-5 p.m., Friday, May 9 at the museum.
Both the exhibition and the reception will be free and open to the public.
The MFA exhibition occurs annually to display the works of students who graduated in the past year from the UI School of Art and Art History MFA program.
Featured this year will be works by 19 students from various departments including ceramics, design, metalsmithing, sculpture, intermedia, painting and printmaking.

The UI Museum of Art, located on North Riverside Drive in Iowa City, is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and noon to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Admission is free. Public metered parking is available in UI parking lots west and north of the museum.
