Geneva Session Examines Finding God In Contemporary Fiction

" Spirituality and Healing in Contemporary Fiction" will be the topic of the Finding God at Iowa Lunch Forum at noon Friday, May 2 in River Room 1 of the Iowa Memorial Union.

The forum, free and open to the public, is the last of the academic year. The discussion will be led by William Kupersmith, professor of English, and the Rev. Jan Waples, Episcopal chaplain at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Now in its sixth year, the Finding God at Iowa lunch forum is a program of the Geneva Campus Ministry at the University of Iowa. The purpose of the forum is to create a healthy environment in which members of the University of Iowa community can come together to discuss the role of spirituality in academia. Presenters and participants come from various academic disciplines, as well as a wide variety of denominational backgrounds.
