UI to Host Occupational Health Symposium April 3-4
The University of Iowa will host its fifth annual Occupational Health Symposium April 3-4 in the Second Floor Ballroom of the Iowa Memorial Union (IMU).
The symposium will provide current workplace health and safety information, as well as important resources and networking opportunities, to those interested in improving the health and safety of workers.
A pre-symposium course, "The Facts About Mold," will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 2 in the Illinois Room of the IMU. The course will provide current information on the effects of mold on human health and the recognition, evaluation, and remediation of problem mold exposure. No previous experience or knowledge of mold is necessary. Pre-registration is required.
