UI Police Seek Suspect In Sexual Assault

University of Iowa police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that took place at a residence hall Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at approximately 2:30 a.m.

The suspect is described as an African-American male with tight braids or dreadlocks approximately 3 1/2 inches long. The suspect's hair is parted on the right side. The suspect is reported to be in his 20's and approximately 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, with thin to medium build, no facial hair and a space between his front teeth. He is said to speak with an accent that may be English/Australian/ East Indian or Jamaican. At the time of the assault it has been reported the suspect wore a white polo collared button down long sleeve shirt, black or navy blue pea coat with anchor buttons, black pants and black dress shoes.
