Law School To Host Admitted Students Day
The University of Iowa College of Law will host its annual Admitted Students Day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, March 7.
The all-day event, organized by the College of Law Admissions Office, will welcome approximately 160 prospective students who have already been admitted into the program.
Dean N. William Hines, along with professors and other administrators from the College of Law, will welcome prospective students and present an overview of the college's programs and facilities.
The event will give prospective students the opportunity to speak with current students in a scheduled student panel, to participate in a mock class, and to become familiar with the college's resources. The students will also tour the Boyd Law Building.
"This has been an unusually competitive admissions year, and we have admitted a group of exceptionally talented students," said Hines. "Admitted Students Day is a full day of specialized programming designed to help us recruit these students and to equip them to make a better informed decision about whether to attend the University of Iowa."
