Klemm is February 'Finding God at Iowa' Speaker

David Klemm, professor and chair of the UI Department of Religious Studies, will discuss how his Roman Catholic faith affects his life and work in the February "Finding God at Iowa" luncheon forum.

The forum begins at noon Feb. 14 in River Room 1 of the Iowa Memorial Union. Admission is free and open to the public. Klemm's discussion will look at how his faith creates pressure points and tensions as an academic.

Klemm received his Ph.D. in religious studies from UI in 1980 studying the German theologian and thinker Paul Tillich. He has taught at UI since 1992 and is a past director of the Honors Program.

Now in its sixth year, the "Finding God at Iowa" lunch forum is a program of the Geneva Campus Ministry. For further information, contact Jason Chen at (319) 341-0007 or mailto:geneva@blue.weeg.uiowa.edu.
