Alumni Association Sponsors Menopause Program
University of Iowa Health Care and the UI Alumni Association are co-sponsoring a Lifelong Learning program on menopause and hormones at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at the Bandag Incorporated Learning Center, 2000 Bandag Drive in Muscatine, Iowa.
Susan Johnson, associate dean, UI Carver College of Medicine will review last summer's results of the estrogen and progestin hormone replacement therapy study and will discuss current theories about when and how long postmenopausal women should take hormones.
